The wine-growing areas of the Greek winery Tsantali extend across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine. Tasting note
Deep ruby red color. Rich aromatic bouquet of wild berries, ripe dark cherries and spicy notes. The nose is intense and complex. Tough and structured tannins on the palate. Full body with remarkable balance and velvety finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasted vegetables, red meat, sausages and hard cheeses.
Vinification
Skin maceration at low temperature (10-12° C) for 48 hours. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at ± 22° C for ± 12 days. Malolactic fermentation in the tank. Maturation takes 10 months in 300 lt oak Eating. 95% of the barrels are French oak (50% new and 50% second and third filling) and 5% American oak (all new). Additional storage of 4 months in the bottle before release.
