About the wine
If you're looking for something special, don't miss out on this present Sylvaner 2014 — Johannisberg du Valais AOC. The Valais landscape is hilly and mountainous, whose fascinating expanses don't fit on a poster, but in a bottle. With a lot of feeling and experience, the winemaker from the Swiss winery Joseph Gattlen ensures that his craft inspires and convinces you. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Sylvaner with fish dishes or light, vegetarian dishes.

Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with light, vegetarian dishes and fish dishes. Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the white wine is a slightly chilled 10°-12°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: 1-4 years.
Vinification
The Johannisberg grape (Sylvaner) originally comes from Transylvania and was introduced to Valais at the beginning of the 20th century. The grapes are harvested at the ideal time and gently pressed. The wine then ages in stainless steel tanks for around half a year.
