About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Vizcarra masters this red wine in the picturesque and beautiful landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). With the distinctive Merlot 2012 — Ines, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or poultry.
Tasting note
A rare, small special cuvée dedicated to the younger, his two daughters. Composed from 90% Tempranillo and 10% Merlot, aged for 16 months in French and American barriques. Black, impenetrable color, highly concentrated scent of wild fruits, rum pot, some cedarwood and the finest nougat. Unbelievably dense on the palate, with velvety tannins and a fresh drink. Impressive wine of immense complexity. ONLY 2000 BOTTLES PRODUCED!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with tasty meat dishes such as grilled lamb, Iberico pork chop, braised oxcheek, but also spicy Manchego cheese.
