The winemaker from the Italian winery Gergenti masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the blooming and fertile landscape of Sicily. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant Nero d'Avola 2017 — Il Vero Siciliano. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Nero d'Avola can be served very well with pasta or hard cheese.

Tasting note
Dense, intense ruby red. Powerful bouquet, with a multi-faceted range of scents. Red fruit aromas. Extremely concentrated, with silky tannins and a long-lasting finish.

Goes well with Sicilian arancini, Italian cold cuts, braised beef, slow boiling lamb and aged cheeses.
