About the wine
Since it was founded in 1992, Bordeaux and Rhone-inspired wines have been pressed at the DeLille Cellars boutique winery in Woodinville. The work in the vineyards as well as in the wine cellar is the responsibility of Chris Upchurch, winemaker and founding member of DeLille. Some of the oldest and most renowned locations in the Washington State region, Ciel du Cheval, Harrison Hill and Grand Ciel are cultivated.

Tasting note
Inviting, complex nose with aromas of red and dark berries, plums, floral and herbal notes, truffles and elegant wood notes. Medium-weight on the palate with a dazzling elegance. Harrison Hill is complex with an extremely long and complex finish. The only 3,500 bottles produced will continue to develop over the next 20 years.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Harrison Hill Snipes Mountain passt perfekt zu Ribeye Steak, Pizza mit Pilzen und rotem Fleisch.
Vinification
After harvesting, the selected grapes are sorted manually, cold macerated for 24 to 36 hours, followed by two weeks of fermentation. The wine is then aged for 24 months in 92% new French oak barrels. Finally, a minimum of nine months of bottle aging gives this artisanal wine the finishing touch.
