Harlequin Veneto IGP 2015 - Zymé di Celestino Gaspari

About the wine

The Celestino Gaspari winery had been working for several well-known producers as a consultant and oenologist since 1993, after which he founded a team of consultants called Zymè with Francesco Parisi in November 1999. Your first own wine (Il Harlequin) was produced in May 2000, and since then you have been even more concerned with nature, the autochthonous grape varieties, the terroir and its characteristics. The founding of your own Azienda Agricola (2003) as well as the continuous development and innovation make you one of the biggest wine producers today. Zymè comes from Greek and translates as yeast and fermentation. Celestino Gaspari Having grown up on his parents' farm in the vineyards, he came to Giuseppe Quintarelli in Negrar (1986-1997), one of the most important Amarone producers. At the same time, he attended wine schools and obtained all titles. His enormous knowledge of the vines, the terroir and the origin of grape to wine is clearly evident in his products.

Tasting note
The playful bouquet of Harlequin Veneto IGP of fruit compote, spices and tobacco skilfully flirts with your sense of smell. Afterwards, playful nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper will resolutely and consciously convince your senses of taste. A strong body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which shows a lot of character and class, pleasantly with fine tannins in the mouth.
