About the wine
This striking Primitivo 2016 — Gran Trio Salento IGP is a triumph to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The winemaker from the Italian winery Feudi di San Marzano has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and fertile landscape in Puglia. The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you offer this Primitivo with risotto or pasta.

Tasting note
Color: Intense ruby red. Aroma: Dense, aristocratic bouquet of plums, ripe raspberries, nuances of chocolate and a hint of tobacco. Character: Compact and multi-faceted on the palate, with excellent ripe fruit, including dried fruits such as figs; very well-integrated tannins, lots of fruit pressure and a good body right down to the extended finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with starters such as wild terrines, mushrooms, stews, dark poultry, steak variants, grilled meat, semi-hard and hard cheeses such as Sbrinz or mountain cheese.
Vinification
Aged in French and Slovenian oak barrels.
