Tasting note
The grapes for this blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Weissburgunder come from vineyards around Göttlesbrunn. Aged in large wooden barrels. The nose shows aromas of yellow peach, mirabelle, Christ pear and citrus fruits, underlaid with notes of flowering herbs and a subtle smoky spiciness. On the palate, showing beautiful harmony, with juicy fruit, good freshness and fine spiciness.
Culinary recommendation
Great wine with an aperitif with small snacks, antipasto and various starters, such as “fish crispy” with tartar sauce, zucchini quiche or vitello tonnato, but also with risotto or pasta.
