Tasting note
Fresh, cool notes, lots of elderberry, a bit of orange zest, very varietal fragrance; lots of nutmeg spice, yellow-apple, has a lot of acidity that literally swallows the residual sugar, making the ice wine appear enormously dry, from a single source. Goes well with fruit desserts, lemon sorbet, desserts with ice cream combinations, plum cake, cherry pie.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with blue cheese, almond biscuits, fruitcake and dessert.
