About the wine
The wine-growing areas of the Israeli winery Galil Mountain Winery extend across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine. There is something left over from Christmas dinner every year. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal again, and we recommend this dominant Shiraz 2019. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This shiraz is excellent with game or barbecue.

Tasting note
The “Galil Yiron Syrah” with its shiny deep purple color shines with aromas of blueberries, black cherries and raspberry jam, accompanied by subtle nuances of chocolate and clove. The wine has a full body, a velvety texture and a persistent elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with juicy oven-fried beef, roast duck breast in a bouillon or with sautéed mixed mushrooms.
Vinification
The “Galil Mountain Winery” is based on the region's five vineyards, which are between 430 and 800 meters high. After 2-3 weeks of warm and malolactic fermentation, the juice is aged in French oak barrels for 16 months.
