About the wine
The wine-growing regions of the Israeli winery Galil Mountain Winery stretch across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine. Tasting note
With its dark-red color, the “Galil Friends” presents fragrant aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, vanilla and oak wood. With its full-bodied, velvety texture, it has a persistent and elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with spaghetti bolognese, grilled lamb ribs or a selection of your favorite cheese.
Vinification
The cuvée for this wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot grapes, which come from a number of vineyards in the Upper Galilee. After 10-20 days of fermentation, the wine matures in French oak barrels for around 13 months.
