About the wine
Domini de la Cartoixa is located about 2 hours south of Barcelona in the heart of Priorat, the oldest wine-growing region in Spain. The 11-hectare farm is managed according to the guidelines of organic viticulture. Yields are kept as low as possible and as a result, wines are produced in this barren and rugged mountain area that are almost unbeatable in terms of concentration and intensity.

Tasting note
Rich garnet red. Remarkable aromatic complexity and a wealth of scents, dominated by balsamic notes, black fruit, marmalade and a touch of spice. Rich body with strong tannins, accompanied by aromas of chocolate and coffee.

Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Galena DOQ Priorat passt bestens zu rotem Fleisch, Pizza mit Pilzen und Gruyère Burger. Unsere Empfehlung: Trinken Sie diesen Bio-Rotwein bei leicht gekühlten 16°-18°C. Im folgenden Zeitraum liegt die empfohlene Genussphase dieses Weins: 3 - 9 Jahre nach Ernte.
Vinification
The wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels and then in the bottle for 24 months before being sold.
