About the wine
Give yourself and your guests a treat for the senses with the first-class Gaglioppo Calabria IGT from 2014! Fertile and blooming landscapes in Calabria give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantine Statti Lamezia Terme conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience.

Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red The intense scent delights with aromas of wild berries, sour cherries and a shade of violets and hibiscus flowers. Very fruity and juicy on the palate, supported by elegant acidity and fine tannins. The finish is characterized by notes of pomegranate and plum.
Culinary recommendation
Unsere Empfehlung: Trinken Sie diesen Rotwein bei leicht gekühlten 14°-16°C. Im folgenden Zeitraum liegt die empfohlene Genussphase dieses Weins: 4-5 Jahre.
Vinification
After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and traditionally vinified. Maceration in stainless steel tanks takes around 7 days at a controlled temperature of 22-26°C. The wine then matures for a few more months in stainless steel tanks before being bottled.
