The winemaker from the Italian winery La Montina has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this sparkling wine, which originates in the blooming and beautiful landscape of Lombardy. Tasting note
Similar to Champagne, only sparkling wines that have been produced according to the classic method of bottle fermentation may bear the name “Franciacorta”. The comparison with top champagne is by no means arrogant. Elegance is the trademark of Rosé Millesimato Extra Brut. On the nose, a very light bouquet of peaches, light fruits and raisins. The persistent taste is soft-fruity with subtle notes of fresh toast.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent as an aperitif. Excellent accompaniment to meat and pasta dishes and delicious, hearty cheeses. Also great to pair with seafood
Vinification
The wine is left on the lees for at least 30 months
