About the wine
The calcareous, loamy soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Gamay. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Laurent Perrachon & Fils knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this powerful Gamay 2016 — Fleurie Vieilles Vignes. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Gamay with roasted poultry or cheese.
Tasting note
A charming wine, floral, fruity and elegant. It smells of violets, peonies and cherries. It grew on the La Cadole vineyard in the famous La Madone location. Its rather mild tannin structure and fresh acidity make it an exhilarating wine with a wonderful drinking flow.
