Deep dark cherry red color. Rich aromas of cassis, blueberry jam and plums are typical of the Cabernet-heavy cuvée. The spicy notes of tobacco, cedarwood and a touch of vanilla come from wood aging. The wine's strong body has a slightly grainy texture and is reminiscent of blackberries, fruitcake, coffee beans and dried herbs. The fine tannins lead to a long-lasting finish, which becomes smoother as the wine matures.
