About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Curatolo Arini has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and fertile landscape of Sicily. We have a special, powerful Nerello from 2016 for you, which inspires many wine connoisseurs. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Nerello with beef goulash or Sicilian pasta dishes.
Tasting note
Bright ruby red in the glass. On the nose, fresh fruity aromas of red berries, black cherries and delicate spicy notes. Fresh and lively on the palate with silky tannins. The perfect symbiosis of power and elegance. Full-bodied, harmonious finale.

Vinification
The vines grow on mineral volcanic rock at an altitude of 750 m above sea level on the northern side of Mount Etna. After the grapes have been picked by hand, alcoholic fermentation takes place at 25°C for 15 days in stainless steel tanks. Subsequent ageing in large French wooden barrels for 2 years.
