Tasting note
A highlight of the Tuscan coast. With its beautiful density and creaminess, it seduces the nose and palate. Berries, spices, new leather and mocha, expansive in style, very balanced in texture and intensity. Kappa is a prototypical favorite wine of great class!
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team recommends this Essenza IGT Toscana Cabernet Franc Kappa to accompany Gruyère burgers, red meat and ribeye steak. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 18°C.
Vinification
Maceration of 2 to 4 weeks, depending on variety and vintage. The maturation takes place in French oak barrels (13% new barrels) for 18 months and then refining for 6 months in cement tanks. Bottling takes place without clarification and without filtration.
