About the wine

Bodega Matsu (Japanese: hope, wait) is the last and newest project of the Arambarri family from Logrono, who founded Vintae Luxury Wine Specialists in 2006. The aim was to accurately reflect the personality and idiosyncrasy of the Toro region in the wines. Strict management of the vineyards according to biodynamic guidelines, the rigorous selection of the grapes and the preservation of the wines as natural and original character as possible are regarded as her philosophy. The results are expressive, pure and represent the region in a perfect way. The Picaro with its vines (!) is the youngest offspring of Matsu wines. The family also includes the expressive El Recio and the monumental El Viejo.
