About the wine

Bodega Matsu (Japanese: hope, wait) is the last and latest project of the Arambarri family from Logrono, who founded Vintae Luxury Wine Specialists in 2006. The aim was to accurately reflect the personality and individuality of the Toro region in the wines. Strict management of the vineyards in accordance with biodynamic guidelines, the rigorous selection of the grapes and the preservation of the wines as natural and original as possible are considered their philosophy. The results are expressive, pure and represent the region in a perfect way. The Picaro with its vines that are over 90 years old on average (!) is the youngest addition to Matsu wines. The family also includes the expressive El Recio and the monumental El Viejo.
