About the wine
There is something left over from New Year's Eve dinner every year. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal again and we recommend this dominant Shiraz 2016 — Cuvée Bramefan Ventoux AOP. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine du Tix grows this wine in the Côtes du Rhône countryside. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you offer this Shiraz with game or barbecue.
Tasting note
Cuvée consisting mainly of Syrah, with a small amount of grenache, aged in French oak barrels. Inviting, fruity-spicy nose with aromas of blackberries, dried plums, ripe figs and a touch of vanillin, carried by fine herbal and roasted notes. On the palate, with great fruit, round and equally finely spicy.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with a hearty cassoulet or fried boudin noir with roasted potatoes, also great with grilled veal cutlet and of course with lamb.
