About the wine
With the powerful Chardonnay 2009 — Corton-Charlemagne grand cru ac, nuances and accents are redefined. The crooked, loamy soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Domaine Jacques Prieur everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Chardonnay goes very well with fish with herbs or soft cheese.

Tasting note
Medium golden yellow. Intense, complex nose with aromas of yellow fruits, flowers and well-integrated wood. Very well-structured on the palate, creamy texture, lots of fruit and well-supporting acidity. The wooden insert is well accentuated. The aftertaste is long and balanced. Good storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
An exquisite accompaniment to seafood, fish dishes and white meat.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is then fermented. Twelve-month aging in new barriques.
