About the wine

We have a special, dominant Shiraz from 2012 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the French winery Jean-Luc Colombo greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of the Côtes du Rhône. Flaschenpost team promises a dining experience when you serve this Shiraz with roasted vegetables or game.

Jean-Luc ColomboRed wine | 75clThis wine gets its own and refreshing character thanks to the fruity Shiraz. Blackberries and blackcurrants form their own dominant flavor nuances.
Tasting note
The Cornas Les Ruchets's playful bouquet of blackberry, bread and marmalade shows aromatic complexity and a lot of finesse. The dominant nuances of blackcurrant and chocolate create their individual texture. Medium-bodied and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class. This top wine received the award: 17 - 18°C.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 91°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: 2016 - 2036. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Cornas Les Ruchets goes well with roasted vegetables, barbecue and game.

The vinification took place as follows: Harvested by hand, destemmed and fermented in a temperature-controlled manner with 1 month of maceration. The wine matures for 22 months in oak barrels (1/3 new, 2/3 is 1-3 years old).
