About the wine
You can describe nature in Catalonia with words such as barren. However, the Spanish winery Mas d’en Gil is trying to express its own beauty with this white wine. We think he succeeded! Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this grenache with red meat or spicy food.

Tasting note
The expansive bouquet is intense and complex: herbs (sage, mint), flowers, fruit aromas that evoke local and tropical fruits as well as oranges. It suggests a complex, dense wine that will have many facets. The palate develops a complex structure that has creamy aspects, but also expresses acidity, minerality and even a hint of saltiness. The subtle tartness in the finish gives the wine a special liveliness and structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish dishes, poultry dishes, vegetarian dishes, cheese and tapas.
Vinification
20% of the must is pressed in used 500 liter barriques, then aged for a further six months, the remaining 80% has been fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks
