About the wine
The Colle dei Cerri is made from a Fiano cru planted in Salza Irpina in 1995. The optimal location of the vineyard guarantees a slow and perfect ripening of the grapes, which ferment in the wood after pressing and ripen there for 1 month. The long stay in the cellar finally results in a structured wine, complex on the nose and juicy on the palate, particularly long in the finish.
Tasting note
Golden yellow, with warm amber tones, exudes aromas of chamomile, acacia honey and dried fruit in a pleasant roasted aroma. Structured, fresh, tasty and very persistent.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with eggs with truffles, risotto with Castelmagno cheese and hazelnuts as well as sardine beccafico.
