About the wine
Cannonau is called Garnacha in Spain and Grenache in France. The most-cultivated red grape variety in Sardinia. Depending on the microclimate, produces hearty, fruity to concentrated, dense wines.
Tasting note
The grapes come from Barbagia in the center of the island. Bright ruby red, the bouquet unfolds after extensive contact with air, then shows balsamic notes and ripe fruit aromas. Warm and supple on the palate, but not lush, on round tannins with good persistence.
