About the wine
Christmas 2022 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this powerful Pinot Noir 2016 — Clos Marey-Monge Monopole! This Pinot Noir draws its strength and energy from the loamy, sloping soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Château de Pommard transforms it into a real treat with a lot of emotion. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Pinot Noir can be served very well with salmon or cheese.
Tasting note
Clear ruby red with purple reflections. Aromas of ripe black and red fruits, as well as floral notes of violet and nuances of sweet spices such as cloves, cinnamon and caramel. The pleasant, long start is followed by velvety tannins, delicate, well-integrated acidity, lively and pleasant with a slightly mushroomy-earthy note. The historic Château de Pommard wine, lively, pleasant and harmonious.

The accompaniment to light dishes such as vegetarian dishes or poultry.
