Tasting note
In the Clos des Corbassières, this hermitage grows within the protected dry stone walls. Made from very old Marsanne Blanche vines, this Valais white wine has a fine bouquet of white truffles, pears, honeycomb and pine needles as well as sweet almonds. On the palate, it is full-bodied, creamy and mineral at the same time. Flattering with exciting tartness and great armatic length. Mistaken for a large Burgundy in a blind tasting! Serve this wine in large glasses, not too cold.
