About the wine
The fertile and beautiful landscapes of Vaud give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Swiss winery Charles Rolaz / Hammel SA conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant white wine 2019 Clos de la George Chasselas 1er Grand Cru 1er Grand Cru. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This chasselas can be served very well with terrines or poultry.

Das Bouquet des Clos de la George Chasselas 1er Grand Cru 1er Grand Cru von Blumen und Kräutern zeigt vielschichtige Aromastruktur und viel Genusspotential. Die dominanten Nuancen von Grapefruit, Honig und Limette gestalten ihre individuelle Textur. Mit leichtem Körper und dominanter Säure zeigt dieser Weisswein seine meisterliche Beschaffenheit.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pâté and venison terrine, poultry, offal, lamb cutlets, beef fillet with mushrooms, various pasta dishes, “five spices” ribs, Peking duck, hard cheese, chestnuts, black chocolate.
Vinification
For many years, the entire winery has been managed according to environmentally friendly principles.
