About the wine
Domaine Maillard was founded in 1952 by Daniel Maillard, whose family has been winemakers in Burgundy since 1766. Today, the 19-hectare domain includes famous wines such as Corton, Aloxe Corton, Pommard, Beaune and Chorey les Beaune. Daniel's sons Alain and Pascal ensure the continuity of the winery in terms of wine culture and vines traditions.
Tasting note
Pale lemon yellow. Fresh citrus fruits and well-integrated wood aromas on the nose, very balanced on the palate with good fruit and fine creaminess. The finish is intense and long.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team recommends this Chorey les Beaune AOC blanc to go with soft cheese, goat cheese and truffles.
