About the wine
We have a special, biting Sangiovese from 2019 for you, which will inspire many wine connoisseurs. Fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Castello Sonnino conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Sangiovese is ideal to serve with pasta or lamb.

Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Flaschenpost team tip: Chianti Montespertoli Sonnino DOCG Chianti Montespertoli goes well with beef, lamb and pasta.
Vinification
The wine represents the typical and historical tradition of Chianti: in addition to the red varieties Sangiovese and some Canaiolo, it still contains a minimum amount of white Trebbiano grapes. The aging takes place in concrete tanks for 8 months, so that fruit and freshness are retained.
