About the wine
With the outstanding Sangiovese 2015 — Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione Coltassala wooden box, nuances and accents are redefined. The winemaker from the Italian winery Castello di Volpaia has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the flourishing and fertile Tuscan countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Sangiovese with lamb or beef.

Tasting note
This Chianti Classico Riserva, which was aged in barriques for 18 months, enchants with its fresh, distinctive typicity. The variety of aromas could hardly be more Tuscan; on the palate, it looks round with a nice persistence.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with meat, beef with dark sauces, grilled or fried, and veal with dark sauces.
