Its aroma ranges from rum pot fruits, oranges, chestnuts glacés, cloves and cinnamon to mocha, licorice and floral scents of lilac and jasmine. On the palate, it is powerful, opulent yet elegant, with spicy notes, wonderful extract sweetness and soft, ripe, perfectly integrated tannins. This great wine ends with a long finish and is really fun to drink when drunk young. However, we recommend carafing it at this stage.
