About the wine
With the strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 — Château Crabitey Rouge AC, nuances and accents are redefined. The winemaker from the French winery Château Crabitey greets us with this wine, which he grows in the Bordeaux countryside. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Cabernet Sauvignon is very good to serve with ribeye steak or red meat.
Tasting note
Pleasantly fruity nose with aromas of cherries, blackberries, blueberries and cassis, plus mint, green peppers and wet pebbles. On the palate, this Bordeaux is medium-heavy with lots of freshness and fine, velvety tannin. The aftertaste is persistent and is supported by lots of berry fruit and cedarwood.
Culinary recommendation
Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Château Crabitey Rouge AC harmoniert perfekt mit rotem Fleisch, Gruyère Burger und Pizza mit Pilzen.
Vinification
It was aged for twelve months in French oak barrels, a third of which was used for the first time.
