About the wine
The wine-growing regions of the French winery Château Cabrières extend across the landscapes of the Côtes du Rhône, where the experienced winemaker produces this white wine. Tasting note
Intensely shiny, golden yellow color with green reflections. On the nose, floral notes, ripe peaches, quinces, chamomile, pepper and a little butter. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, with beautifully balanced acidity and elegant roasted aromas. Balanced, a very appealing combination of power and elegance. Long, aromatic aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
An excellent accompaniment, for example with guinea fowl with morels or with ripe Comté cheese.
Vinification
The average yield of the approximately 45-year-old vines is between 28 and 30 hl/ha. Fermentation and aging take place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels. The young wine does not go through malolactic fermentation to maintain freshness and fruitiness.
