About the wine
The Tatschler vineyard was first mentioned in 1570. In this wind-protected south-east location on the Leitha Mountains, Chardonnay ripens to the highest quality on chalky slate soil. Fermented and aged in small oak barrels, it impresses with fully ripe fruit aromas, strength and elegance.
Tasting note
Fruity-spicy aromas of yellow peach, tangerine and orange blossom honey, delicately underlaid with white pepper. Complex, with fresh structure, fine sweetness extract and delicate vanillin on a long, silky finish.
