In 2012, Duckhorn Vineyards produced their first Chardonnay using grapes from the coolest regions of Napa Valley. In the cellar, classic techniques of fermentation in French oak with yeast are used, resulting in a Chardonnay that balances the complexity and richness of Napa Valley. Seductive aromas of lemon cream, orange blossom, lime and candied pineapple flow into the nose. Juicy on the palate, with lively aromas of pear and white peach and a hint of brioche. Leaves a luscious, silky mouthfeel with a long, concentrated finish.
