About the wine
The powerful Chardonnay 2016 — Chablis AC is the missing puzzle piece in your wine rack. This Chardonnay gets its power and energy from the gravelly, slate soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Alain Geoffroy turns it into a real treat with a lot of emotion. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with soft cheese or fish with herbs.
Tasting note
This Chablis is bright golden yellow with green reflections. On the nose, rich aromas of citrus fruits, bright flowers and chalk inspire. On the palate, the wine is straight and fresh with a wonderful harmony of fruit, mineral accents of mussel limestone, juicy acidity and a long-lasting and lively finish. An exemplary Chablis.

Vinification
The grapes for this Chablis come from 20-40-year-old vines, which are rooted in a south-east exposure on calcareous kimmeridge soils. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented and aged in steel tanks at controlled temperatures.
