About the wine
The calcareous, skewed soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Chardonnay. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Laroche knows how to use them and delights us with this white wine. Tasting note
Golden yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, fine notes of apricot and oriental spices. Elegant on the palate, with aromas of peach and honey. Intense acidity and a long, mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes wonderfully with a fried scallop with saffron and vegetables.
Vinification
The obédiencerie of Chablis has been a wine stronghold since the Middle Ages and Laroche is closely linked to this history. This cultural heritage is still very much alive today: the estate still produces and stores its wines in its historic cellars. These wines are the testimony of over 1000 years of history!
