About the wine
The Tenuta Casadei, is located in Suvereto, in the province of Livorno. Just 13 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea. Famous wineries such as Ornellaia and Tenuta San Guido are among their neighbors. Stefano Casadei bought the property in 2006 and the estate now comprises 16 hectares of vines. Tenuta Casadei works exclusively according to the guidelines of organic vine cultivation. The winery is considered an insider tip from Maremma.

Tasting note
Intense garnet red. On the nose, fine aromas of cherries, red fresh berries and vanilla notes. Full body with soft, well-integrated tannins and a long, intense finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta of any kind, calzone, risotto and hearty meat dishes and grilled meats. Wonderful with a ripe pecorino cheese.
Vinification
15 bis 18 Monate in Barriques.
