The winemaker from the Italian winery Casa Lupo by Paladin has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and blooming landscape of Veneto. This dominant Corvina 2014 — Casa Lupo Amarone della Valpolicella crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience if you serve this Corvina with hearty meat dishes or roasts.
Tasting note
Its opulence and richness are paired with a fresh, juicy acidity, which gives it great drinking flow. The sweetness lingers subtly in the background, the ripe tannins are perfectly embedded. Balsamic notes and aromas of cherry jam, dried plums, blackberries and mocha form its wonderful spectrum of scents and flavors. A wine with lots of excitement, very lively and with a long finish. This Amarone was awarded 91 points by renowned wine critic James Suckling.
