About the wine
Treat your guests to Christmas dinner with this dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 — Casa de Illana Crianza Tres de Cinco DO. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas y Viñedos Illana greets us with this wine, which he grows in the Meseta countryside. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with red meat or Gruyère burgers.
Tasting note
Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. This wine with an expressive bouquet of ripe black fruits and spices develops a slight toast note. A well-balanced and structured wine, with elegant tannins and a nice lingering finish in the mouth.
