About the wine
The Egomei winery is a place of pure enjoyment. The town of Alfaro presents breathtaking nature on 120 hectares. The winery is located in the Rioja Oriental (formerly Rioja Baja). Since 1975, the vineyards have been cultivated here with great care; right from the start with the aim of achieving the highest quality for wines made from Tempranillo and Graciano grapes in selected individual vineyards.Highest expertise is also at the heart of the Egomei cellar. The wine is stored in Allier French oak barrels and small tanks until the perfect balance and depth is achieved.

Tasting note
A lot of blackberry and red currant characterize this ruby red, harmonious wine. The aromas are complemented by notes of cherries, cocoa and chocolate as well as some spicy aspects of vanilla and clove. A soft, round and harmonious structure supports the aromatic fruit, and a long finish rounds off the enjoyment.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal with light sauces.
