Tasting note
Colour Ruby red Intense aroma with fruity and spicy notes of ripe cherries, blackberries, sour cherries, coffee and leather. Soft and fresh taste, with fine tannins and a balanced finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with risotto with meat sauce, meat stew, venison, roasts, grilled meat and noodles with meat sauce.
Vinification
It is representative of the Carmignano area and the estate's historic wine, as the family owns 1925 bottles made from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Carmignano DOCG is aged in tonneaux for over a year and in the bottle for around 12 months.
