About the wine
932 refers to the founding year 1932 of the cooperative on the small island of Sant'Antiocco in southern Sardinia. Carignano primarily grows here, and in many places phylloxera could not settle on the sandy soil near the sea. The vines therefore grow on their own roots.
Now until 2032
Tasting note
A very dense, warm and profound wine. A concentrated load of fruit is accompanied by balsamic aromas of wild herbs and, in the background, notes of wood aging. Full-bodied but dry on the palate, with high viscosity, juicy acidity and a remarkable structure. Very long aftertaste. Only 1614 bottles were produced!
Culinary recommendation
For festive meals or as a meditation wine
Vinification
Selective selection of at least 50-year-old, root-rich vines. Temperature-controlled fermentation at 28° for 15 days, malolactic fermentation in cement tanks. Aging for 18 months in new French barriques.
