About the wine
We have a special, snappy Sangiovese from 2016 for you, which inspires many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Italian winery Castello Sonnino masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the fertile and blooming landscape of Tuscany. Tasting note
Its rich ruby color crowns every festive occasion with style and elegance. You won't find this shade in any color palette. The spicy aromas of Cantinino IGT Rosso di Toscana of black pepper, spices and tobacco express a great deal of finesse with a very special structure. The playful nuances of red plum, strawberry and fig then reveal their own character. A red wine with a strong body and outstanding acidity, which develops its individual structure with rich tannins on the tongue and palate.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Flaschenpost team tip: Cantinino IGT Rosso di Toscana goes perfectly with pasta, pizza and lamb.
