About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this distinctive Grenache 2016 Cannonau di Sardegna DOC. The winemaker from the Italian winery Atha Ruja is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and blooming countryside of Sardinia. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This grenache is very good to serve with spicy dishes or spicy food.
Tasting note
On the palate, red fruits with a touch of spice and violet. The tannins are soft and well integrated. An ideal accompaniment to Mediterranean cuisine.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with medium-hard cheese, hearty cold cuts and medium-bodied red meat dishes.
