Tasting note
Dark ruby red. Fragrant bouquet of ripe cherries and wild raspberries, with a touch of rose hips. Powerful on the palate, with enormous concentration, soft, with silky tannins, juicy and full-bodied. Delicious terroir sweetness with concentrated, blackberry fruit and an enormous amount of melting. Broad aromas with notes of caramel, blackberries, pickled plums, cassis and cedars. Wonderfully harmonious wine with a powerful and long-lasting finish.
Vinification
The young wine is aged for 9 months in used French oak barriques. A further aging of the wine takes place in the bottle for 8 months.
