About the wine
The San Fabiano Calcinaia winery is located in the middle of Tuscany on the hills of the Chianti area. It covers 165 ha in Poggibonsi and Castellina in Chianti. Guido and Isa Serio have owned the company since 1983 and have dedicated themselves to the production of authentic, top-class wines. In 2009, they began switching to organic production.

Tasting note
The Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT's fruity fragrance spectrum of fruit compote, spices and tobacco skilfully plays with your sense of smell. Next, fruity nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper will decisively and consciously convince your taste buds. A strong body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows plenty of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Heavy and spicy foods, as well as grilled food.
Vinification
At least 20 months in barrique of the first or second use.
