About the wine
Don Angelo Cetto came to Baja California from Veneto (Italy) in 1926 as an Italian immigrant. Coming from a family with a long wine tradition, he used his knowledge conscientiously to set up this unique winery in Mexico. In 1957, the Vinicola L.A. Cetto was finally founded, which is exclusively dedicated to modern quality wines. L.A. Cetto was decisively involved in the development of modern viticulture in Mexico and, with its approximately 1200 ha in Baja California, is one of the largest producers. Hugh Johnson, the author of the legendary Wine Atlas, also praised this winery by placing it at the top of the quality wine producers in Mexico.

Tasting note
Color: Clear, brilliant ruby red. Aroma: notes of red currants, plums and raspberries. Fine nuances of hibiscus, vanilla, black pepper and cinnamon. Character: Fruity and fleshy on the palate with elegant spiciness and soft tannins with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Mexican cuisine, red meats, contemporary cheeses and pasta dishes.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation. 1-year ageing in oak barriques - then 6 to 8 months in bottle storage.
